Through quality supply chain relationships and manufacturing processes, Wind Mill makes every effort to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Our lean manufacturing process strives to eliminate waste and implement recycling. One example of this is all of the sawdust generated during manufacturing is repurposed for animal bedding, eliminating the need for landfill. The use of water based paints and finishes reduces harmful emissions protecting the environment.

Wind Mill partners with Boise Cascade, developer of Anchor™Core. This core material is specially engineered for slatwall applications and the store fixture market. Anchor™Core is made from 100% recycled fiber and champions the highest standards for fiber procurement. Extensive testing determines Anchor™Core is approximately 50% stronger than premium MDF in slatwall applications.

Wind Mill’s entire MDF supply base manufactures MDF from residual wood waste materials enabling the forestry industry to use more than 95 percent of the tree. These mills are certified to the Composite Panel Association’s Environmentally Preferred Product standard, TSCA Title 6 compliant.
